- Authorware teaching modules require require a Web player that can
be downloaded from Macromedia. With a 24,000 bps connection
this download is likely to take 20 minutes or more. For any
particular computer, loading the Macromedia Web Player is a one time
operation. Of course, that means the Web Player has been added
to the software overhead of the computer.

- When one of these teaching modules is loaded for the first time,
expect the first appearance of each page to take a while. If
Web access is unacceptably slow, you are welcome to download
freestanding files that require no Web player. Those files are
really big, but once you have imported them they will run
expeditiously.
